Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do I use my dooplicator key?
Your dooplicator key will arrive ready to be used, no trip to the dealership is necessary. We recommend using your factory key for every day use and keeping the dooplicator as a spare.
Do I have to download the app?
Yes, you must scan and save your factory key with the dooplicator app for iPhone or Android. Your dooplicator key will be programmed to match your factory key.
Why won't my key scan?
When scanning your factory key, please remove any cases or accessories from your phone.
iPhone: Tap and hold the key logo to the top of your iPhone as shown in the video.
Android: Place the key logo against the back of the phone and slowly move the key around until it has been detected.
* Please ensure your vehicle has DESS enabled and you are scanning an "RF DESS" key. If your factory key does not have a chip for DESS, it will not be detected.Can you change a learner to a performance key?
No, key drive modes are stored in the vehicle ECU (computer) and cannot be changed by dooplicator. If you scan and save a learner key, your dooplicator key will be a learner key. If you scan and save a performance key, your dooplicator key will be a performance key.
Can you add, remove, or change speed limiters?
No, speed limiters are stored in the vehicle ECU (computer) and cannot be changed by dooplicator. If you scan and save a speed-limited key, your dooplicator key will also be speed-limited.
What if I don't have a factory key?
Each dooplicator key is programmed using your factory key scan. If you lost or otherwise don't have a factory key and didn't scan it with the dooplicator app, unfortunately we cannot make a dooplicator key for you. You will need to contact your local dealership or shop to have a new factory key added. Once you have a new key, scan and save it with the dooplicator app to create a digital backup!

Will a dooplicator key work on my machine?
If your Bombardier vehicle (Sea-Doo, Ski-Doo, Can-Am or Ryker) uses the 2015 and newer "RF DESS" style key as shown below, a dooplicator key will work with your vehicle.
